From nonprofit to finance

I decided to work with Rachel because I was feeling a little lost. I needed extra support—an outside voice and an outside perspective—to put me back in touch with myself.

Rachel made sure that we were focusing on what actually matters when it comes to a building a wardrobe. We weren’t talking about sizing or brand names or tips and tricks to make me look thinner—we were talking about the deeper philosophies behind how I want to show up in the world. What I want to communicate. What clothes can do for me. How my clothes can serve the larger purpose of my style.

Rachel acted like a translator, taking pieces of what I know and what I like and turning them into a cohesive closet that I don’t think I ever could have put together myself! She really listened and reacted to my gut instincts, but she wasn’t afraid to share her own opinions or her expertise alongside them. She kept us committed to one mission and one mission only: expressing my style. That’s the beauty of this process—Rachel puts you first, even when you aren’t putting you first.

I know that I’m going to take some major learnings away from this process, and that I’ll be able to come back to Rachel in multiple different chapters of my life as I need to rekindle my connection with my style.
